Excellent Campus Amenities
The infrastructure at VVIT has been developed with students and faculty needs and to support rigorous academic study. Spread over 5 acres of tranquil landscape and a built up area of One Lakh sq. ft which houses lecture halls, a library, labs workshops, seminar halls, canteen and residential complex. The lecture halls are designed to be spacious as per AICTE norms. The Academic block provides ultra modern laboratories for Basic Sciences, Electronics and workshops for Mechanical Engineering. Latest equipments are added to the labs to give exposure to the students about the state-of-art technology. High-end hardware systems with modern computing facilities are available to meet project requirements and encourage research activities.

Unique Academic Approach
The faculty of different departments provides necessary inputs and practical training to develop talented engineers with a view to enhance their abilities to face global challenges. Specific problems faced by the students are identified through monthly student feedback and remedial action is taken by the faculty. The faculty employs a range of assessment methods through written work, internals, unit tests, question bank preparation and model exams, and thereafter constructive suggestions are given to the students. Many innovative practices like faculty appraisal system, faculty training programs, proctorial system for students add more value to the education that is being imparted.

Library and Information Center
The modern library houses over 10000 volumes apart from subscriptions to leading national and international periodicals and journals. Handbooks, standard manuals, technical reports and conference proceedings are provided. The digital library section houses an extensive range of CD-ROMs, DVDs and access to online journals. The library serves as a rich workspace for students to do research and referencing.

Sporting and Extra Curricular Activities
The college has adequate infrastructure facilities for indoor and outdoor games; students are encouraged to participate in all the events. The Department of Physical Education and Sports focuses to imbibe in the students discipline, team skills, leadership qualities and a sense of belonging through sports activities and the practice of yoga.

Residential and Canteen Facilities
The college provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls students on campus. Located conveniently inside the college campus, the well furnished hostels are equipped with modern amenities like recreation centers, generators, UPS, water heaters and water coolers. The well-maintained catering service prepares hygienic and nutritious food. Round the clock security and doctor on call are provided to the students. The efficiently administered hostel provides the right atmosphere for student life.

Transportation
The Institute buses provides adequate service, for students who are reaching the college from various pre-determined pick up points in the city. VVIT is located within the city limits and is well connected to all parts of the city by BMTC buses.
